Introduction to the laboratory

 

The Centro Studi e Ricerche in Medicina Generale  (Centre for Studies and Research in General Practice CSeRMEG) is engaged, since its origins, in the production of culture and the development of research in the field of General Practice/Family Medicine. 

For a long time, many of its members have been engaged in teaching in Universities, in the Italian Schools for Specific Training in General Practice and in the field of Continuing Education. 

In recent years, this has led CSeRMEG to extend its fields of interest also to teaching; developing a special interest in experimental and innovative teaching methods such as, for example, the "structured patient” and the “simulated patient". 

The relevance of these methodologies has led CSeRMEG to collect and transform the educational experience and the research done over the years. This incorporates a range of basic and advanced services on training and educational fields all gathered inside a Laboratory named Clinical and Professional Skill simulation Lab (CliPsLab).

Services are not only addressed to those working in the medical professional area.

Since October 2017 for shared agreement CliPS Lab has become independent in management and projects while maintaining a high priority partnership with CSeRMEG

Since 2018 CLIPSLAB-IT has its own office/venue in Trento (IT) in Via Brennero 260/B.
